Dr. Lee graduated with honors from the University of California. She received her dental education from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Lee completed her orthodontic training at Boston University.
In 2004, Dr. Lee received the prestigious Alpha Omega International Dental Award, as well as the Dr. Steven R. Gordon Memorial Award. She also received The Korean Honor Scholarship Award from the Korean Consulate General in 2001.
Dr. Lee has researched and published original articles regarding the use of Temporary Anchorage Devices (TAD). TADs are used to help control the orthodontic movement of teeth.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society and the United Korean Voice, where she served as Vice President from 1998 through 2000.
