Dr. Heather Abrahams Dr. Abrahams was raised in Ontario, Canada. She received her BS from the University of Western Ontario where she majored in Biology. She moved to the United States in 1991 to attend dental school at the Ohio State University. While attending the Ohio State University, Dr. Abrahams received the prestigious Thomas P. Hinmand Student Scholarship Award, The William R. Wallace Dental Research Scholarship Award, and the Dean's List Award. Dr. Abrahams has also published original research supported by the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Foundation. Dr. Abrahams received her orthodontic training at the Ohio State University as well as a master's degree in Oral Biology. She continues to keep up to date on all current techniques including Invisalign certification. Dr. Abrahams is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontist Foundation (research organization), American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Mid-Atlantic Orthodontic Society, Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
